The Real Estate profession is one of the most stressful of jobs an individual can have. Realtors are expected to manage all sorts of personalities – many of which are highly charged and stressed themselves. Realtors work long hours and seldom manage their “Me time” appropriately. Realtors eat on the go and do not get the nutrient-rich foods they need to keep their brain and body energized. Realtors are in a highly competitive, ever-changing market and commission-based industry which fosters an environment of fear and desperation. In a nutshell, being a realtor means living quite honestly in a constant state of fight or flight and if diet, fitness and stress aren’t dealt with effectively, it can create a diminished quality of life and a poor performance at work.
