A GFWAR Affiliate Membership Offers:
Exposure – GFWAR offers its affiliate members a wealth of opportunities to build top-of-mind brand awareness among REALTOR® members by:
- Promoting various affiliate events or news in weekly e-mail updates
- Listing affiliates by industry type on the GFWAR Online Portal
- Providing an array of advertising opportunities for affiliates to promote their companies
Networking - GFWAR realizes how important networking is to its affiliate members and works to provide a variety of networking opportunities to help affiliates personally market themselves to GFWAR members. These opportunities include:
- Association events / luncheons
- MLS Networking Groups
- Committee meetings
- Classes / seminars
- Starbucks Sessions
Access to Members – GFWAR offers its affiliate members a list of GFWAR members that includes their mailing addresses and phone numbers. This list is available upon request only to affiliate members for $10.
Cost Break – Affiliates are given the same discount benefits that REALTOR® members are given, including at the REALTOR® store, at GFWAR events / classes and on facility rentals at the Association.
To Become an Affiliate Member
GFWAR has three types of affiliate memberships – designated, additional affiliate and institute affiliate. All offices must designate one member as the designated affiliate member, and all other members of the office may join at a reduced rate as additional affiliates. An institute affiliate is a member with the IREM, RLI, SIOR, CCIM & CRE affiliations. These members pay their NAR Affiliate – Institute directly.
To become an affiliate member, the process includes downloading one of the forms below and sending it to GFWAR with a method of payment. Payment may be in the form of cash, check or credit card. For dues information, visit www.gfwar.org/membership/dues-information.
Institute Affiliate Application (Only for those who are members of IREM, CIREI, RLI, SIOR, CCIM & CRE. National dues must be paid to the institute, society or council and specification made to disperse local dues to GFWAR.)
