GFWAR members attended the 2026 Texas REALTORS? Winter Meetings in Austin from February 7-10, where REALTORS? from across the state came together for key legislative updates, discussions on advocacy priorities, TREPAC, and opportunities to help shape the future direction of Texas REALTORS?.
We are especially proud of the leadership roles held by our members, including Bart Calahan (Chair, Public Policy Business Issues), Justus Carlile (Chair, Young Professionals Network), and Brooke Hunt (Chair, Leadership Development).
Our association was also represented by TREPAC Trustee Paul Epperley, PIC member Jeri Boland Buckner, and RVP Elizabeth McCoy. In addition, six GFWAR members served as Texas REALTORS? Directors: Bart Calahan, Laura Beyer Cook, Kim Gartner, Michelle Lesikar, Eyad Salloum, and Betsy Senter, voting on key issues including budget considerations and future leadership.
We are proud to share that GFWAR earned First Place in Category 1 for both TREPAC Quota and Participation in 2025. We also congratulate Leigh York, recipient of the Strike Force Award, recognizing extraordinary dedication to grassroots advocacy.
