🎤 Guest Speaker: Maya Heard
Human Relations Manager | City of Fort Worth Civil Rights Office

Maya leads the City’s Fair Housing Enforcement Division and brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in management, compliance, and enforcement, including more than 10 years specializing in civil rights and fair housing.

Her experience spans the local, state, and federal levels, including work with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Throughout her career, she has led investigations, developed policies, trained professionals, promoted compliance with civil rights laws, and worked to advance equal opportunity and more inclusive communities.
