FORT WORTH, TEXAS—SEPTEMBER 2, 2025—The Greater Fort Worth Association of REALTORS® (GFWAR) Educational Foundation awarded three graduating Fort Worth seniors with its annual scholarship. Mack Kimball, Akanksha Jha and Jaylen Dobelbower all received $2,500 for their higher education this fall.
“Our annual scholarship always attracts exceptional applicants, and this year is no different,” Valarie Cuozzo, GFWAR Educational Foundation Chair, said. “Our three scholarship recipients stood out from the applicants we received through their academics, extracurriculars, and personal lives.”
Mack Kimball graduated from Aledo High School with a 4.09 GPA. He has been active in the Aledo 4-H, serving as the club president; Parker County 4-H, serving as the County Council vice president; a youth ambassador with Breakthrough T1D; and working for HEB and Kimball Property Management. Kimball will attend West Texas A&M University.
Akanksha Jha graduated from Central High School with a 3.697 GPA. Throughout her high school career, she has been actively involved in the Future Business Leaders of America, most recently serving on the National Council; coaching the USA Ninja Challenge in Keller; serving as president of Mu Alpha Theta; and working as a volunteer tutor at Schoolhouse World and a marketing intern at State Farm. Jha will attend the University of Texas at Austin.
Jaylen Dobelbower graduated from Timber Creek High School with a 4.2706 GPA. She has extensive experience in extracurricular activities and work. A few recent endeavors include working as a medical research intern at Huffines Enterprises Science & Technology; serving as an undergraduate research assistant at the Kenneth Diller Lab; chairing the Biomedical Engineering Society design competition; competing in the Medical Device Make-a-thon National Cohort; and becoming a First Abroad and Ramshorn Scholar. Dobelbower will attend the University of Texas at Austin.
