The Greater Fort Worth Association of REALTORS® (GFWAR) recognized exceptional real estate professionals on Wednesday at its Annual Spring Awards Luncheon, celebrating those who have made a meaningful impact on both the industry and the community.
“Texas’ real estate industry is in flux, and Fort Worth is an area that is a proven growth market year after year,” 2026 GFWAR President Shawn Buck said. “The REALTOR® professionals we are honoring are making a mark on our industry and our community during this evolution. And we all aspire to be like these honorees who make Fort Worth a more desirable place to live.”
This year’s awards include:
The Charles McMillan REALTOR® of the Year award was presented to Blake Barry of Williams Trew Real Estate, recognizing an outstanding REALTOR® for exceptional leadership, dedicated service to GFWAR and a lasting impact on the industry. A past GFWAR Board of Directors president (2024) and board member since 2020, Barry has also served on the TREPAC, Government Affairs, and Young Professionals committees and is a Director for the National Association of REALTORS®. He is honored for his steady leadership through a rapidly evolving housing market and his unwavering support of fellow REALTOR® members.
The Marie and Dayton Sheridan REALTOR® Spirit Award was presented to Laura Kelley of RJ Williams & Company, honoring her vibrant personality and exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships with clients, fellow REALTORS® and the community. Her passion for both life and the profession, paired with a genuine people-first approach, exemplifies the spirit of connection and collaboration that strengthens the GFWAR community.
The Affiliate of the Year award was presented to Morgan Graffigna of Alamo Title Company, recognizing her outstanding contributions and dedicated service to GFWAR. Known for her natural ability to connect the right people and strengthen the REALTOR® community, Graffigna leads with purpose in all she does. She currently serves as vice chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, where her leadership and commitment are evident. Building meaningful partnerships comes second nature to her, and it shows in her everyday impact.
The A.L. Purvis Distinguished Service Award was given posthumously to Tony Sims, Kimball Real Estate, in recognition of his exemplary commitment and long-standing impact on the REALTOR® profession. His expertise was honed as a member of the Texas REALTORS® Property Management, Professional Standards, and Governmental Affairs committees, and as a Region 3 Regional Vice President, along with meaningful roles on GFWAR committees and the Board of Directors. Sims helped shape, guide and strengthen the REALTOR® community at the local, state and national levels.
The Joan Trew TREPAC Legacy Award was presented to Elizabeth McCoy of Williams Trew Real Estate, who exemplifies the spirit of the honor through her long and distinguished service to GFWAR and the community. A 2021 President of GFWAR, a former Director for the National Association of REALTORS®, and a current Texas REALTORS® Region 3 Regional Vice President, McCoy remains a strong advocate for her peers and the profession. Leading with purpose and a steadfast commitment to preserving private property rights through TREPAC, while serving with integrity in her profession and community, has earned her this honor.
